Frequently asked questions
How wide is this material, and how is it sold?
This adhesive magnetic sheeting is 24.375 inches wide and sold by the linear foot, in 20, 30, or 60 mil magnetic material.
What is by-the-foot adhesive magnet used for?
Buy exactly the length you need to cover a specific panel or DIY area - perfect for one-off projects without committing to a full roll.
How does the adhesive work?
The face is a peel-and-stick rubber-based adhesive. Stick the adhesive side to a non-magnetic surface, and the exposed magnetized side then holds magnetic items.
Is it for indoor or outdoor use?
Indoor use. The rubber-based adhesive is rated for indoor applications. For outdoor or vehicle use, choose our acrylic-based adhesive magnet instead.
What can I stick to it?
Once applied, the exposed magnetized side holds magnetic photos, notes, lightweight signs, and other magnetic items.
How do I apply it?
Clean the surface, peel off the liner, and press the adhesive side firmly onto a clean, dry, flat surface like a cabinet door, drywall, plastic, or wood. Let it bond for a few hours before hanging items.
